<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mounting machine improved in transferring accuracy by enhancing the fixing position accuracy of an adsorption nozzle and eliminating looseness. <P>SOLUTION: This surface mounting machine 10, which is a part transfer device, is provided with the fitting axle 71 of the adsorption nozzle 70 and the fitting hole 81 of a nozzle holder 80 in a fittable manner. Furthermore, it is provided with a receiving surface 76 becoming the upper side of a receiving groove 75 provided in the fitting axle 71, a stopper surface 88 becoming the lower side of a notch 86 provided in the nozzle holder, a holder pin 100 abutting on the receiving surface 76 and the stopper surface 88, and a holding spring 110 pressing the holder pin 100 from the outside the nozzle holder 80 to the inside direction to press the pin 100 to the receiving surface 76 and the stopper surface 88, thereby energizing the butting surface 77 of the fitting axle 71 in a direction abutting on a regulation section 83A.
