<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the axial length of a motor by reducing the height at the coil end portion, while ensuring eddy-current loss reduction effect. <P>SOLUTION: In the coil structure of a motor, a coil 3 is formed by winding a bundle 4 of a plurality of thin wires around a stator core 2. The stator core 2 includes slots 5a and 5b, extending in the axial direction of the motor, and core ends 6a and 6b intersecting the axial direction of the motor. The wire bundle 4 includes a strand wire bundle portion, where the straight portion 4a wound around the slots 5a and 5b imparts strand, and a parallel wire bundle portion, where the coil end portion 4b wound around the core end portions 6a and 6b does not impart strand. A stranded wire bundle 7, having an alternate strand wire bundle portion and a parallel wire bundle portion, matched in lengths to those of the straight portion 4a and the coil-end portion 4b can be used as the wire bundle 4 of coil structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
