PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint which can be kept threaded without being loosed when an unexpected accident occurs. SOLUTION: At the upper end of a joint body 2, a tapered male screw portion 2a is formed which is threaded and fixed to one of two pipe bodies to be connected. At the lower end of the joint body 2, a nut 3 is provided which is threaded to the other pipe body. On the joint body 2, a shielding member 4 is provided rotatably and movably in the axial direction of the joint body 2. The shielding member 4 shields a nut 3, when located at a shielding position shown in a solid line, and exposes the nut 3 to the outside, when located at an exposing position shown in an imaginary line.
