PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved submerged pump device economical and excellent in serviceability capable of controlling operation according to water level without using a high cost electric control device and of performing simple and easy maintenance with pulling the same up without facility disassembly and assembly work which is troublesome and requires labor and time. SOLUTION: A preceding standby type submerged pump includes an impeller 2 mounted in a main shaft 1, an impeller chamber 3 rotatably storing the impeller 2, a suction cover 4 arranged on an upper side end in a pump suction direction of the impeller chamber 3, a ventilation means 5 connected on an upper side section in the pump suction direction of the impeller 2, a motor 6 driving and rotating a main shaft 1, and a mounting part 9 for attachable and detachable installation on a pump support part C, and a pump delivery port 8a capable of liquid-tightly communicating to a flow out port 14a of a drain route 14 provided on the pump support part C under a condition where the pump is installed on the pump support part C with using the mounting part 9.
