PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a wheel for a vehicle having a hollow auxiliary air chamber in a rim and excellent mechanical strength, and enabling consistent travel. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method comprises an extrusion forming step of obtaining a cylindrical first formed product having the substantially same sectional shape as that of an auxiliary air chamber, a bending step of obtaining a second formed product by bending the first formed product, a cutting step of obtaining a third formed product having a predetermined length by cutting the second formed product substantially at a right angle in the longitudinal direction, a step of obtaining a fourth formed product having a cavity inside by making a lid abut on the side end of the third formed product and fixing the lid thereto, and a step of obtaining the auxiliary air chamber formed on the outer circumference of the rim by arranging two or more fourth formed products in annular shapes on the outer circumference of the rim.
