When a door lining is fastened to an inner door panel facing the vehicle interior, the door lock button is passed by guide ribs towards the passage opening for the button. The guide ribs are positioned on the side of the lining facing the door panel, near the opening. The button is then fitted into the opening so that it partially projects into the passenger area. The smallest dimension of the opening is larger than the largest dimension of the locking button.
