The arrangement has a blade with two extensions, which extend outward from an edge of the blade, and a turbine or pump wheel (100) with a recess (102) and a slot (104). One of the blade extensions is arranged in such a manner that the blade extension is engaged in the recess, and the other blade extension is arranged in such a manner that it is engaged in the slot. The recess is arranged at an edge radially inward from the slot, and the blade has a third blade extension, which is arranged in another recess of the wheel. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pump or turbine wheel for a torque converter.
