LIGHT EMITTING DIODE

A light emitting diode is provided to minimize a manufacturing cost and to enhance a yield by mixing merits of a three-color light emitting chip and merits of a light emitting diode. One or more light emitting chips for emitting light of two colors of red, green, and blue colors are die-bonded on a lead frame(11). A resin sealant(16) is formed to seal the light emitting chips by mixing die-bonded phosphors for emitting the light of two or more colors. The phosphors are excited in a wavelength band of one of the light emitting chips. The light emitting chips include a blue light emitting chip(12) and a red light emitting chip(13). The phosphors are excited in a wavelength band of the blue light emitting chip.
