A building CAD(Computer-Aided Design) system is provided to enable a user to check a security area visually and easily, and design a layout considering security by adding security information to building design information and displaying the security area on the layout of the building design information. A part library(26) stores a plurality of building design information. A controller(23) obtains the building design information. An operator(21) arranges the obtained building design information to a predetermined area. Security information representing presence of a security function is added to the building design information. A security area corresponding to the layout of the building design information is displayed when the building design information having the secret function is arranged to the predetermined area. The security information includes a plurality of levels and displays the security area in a pattern corresponding to the level of the security information. The building design information having the security function includes a function for controlling entry to a building area. A tow-three dimensional converting unit(27) creates the data, which enables 3-dimensional display, based on the area data which is laid out.
