An expandable display device is provided to increase a display function and enhance portability and expand the size of an image. A main body includes a display window and a discharge hole. An electronic paper display panel(20) displays an image according to a disposition state change of charged particles according to an operation of an electric field, is divided into the first and second regions(d1,d2), and is changed from a basic state in which the first region is flatly unfolded and disposed at a lower portion of the display window and the second region is received in a roll state in the main body to an expanded state in which the second region is drawn out so as to be flatly unfolded together with the first region. A display pane driving unit selectively forms an image on the entire first and second regions and on the first region.
