A transportation apparatus is provided to prevent a work piece such as a flat panel from being sagged. A transportation apparatus includes a plurality of conveyance units(U). Each of the conveyance units includes a shaft, a first driving gear(11), a pair of slant rollers, and a parallel roller. The first driving gear is installed at the shaft. The conveyance units are disposed in a conveyance direction of a work piece at regular intervals to be in contact with the work piece, thereby providing conveyance and tensile force to the work piece. The pair of slant rollers provides conveyance force to the work piece in the conveyance direction, and provides the tensile force to the work piece in a lateral direction.
