A heater for a compressor and the compressor having the same are provided to prevent a wire part connected to an electric heating wire from being entangled with other components by installing the wire part spaced away from a fitting member. A compressor comprises a compressor casing, a sensor unit(45), a heater(33), and a fitting hole(48). The sensor unit faces an outer peripheral surface of the compressor casing. The heater comprising a belt(34) surrounding the outer peripheral surface of the compressor casing, an electric heating wire(35) contained inside the belt, vaporizes liquid refrigerant that enters the compressor, a fitting member(41) to which an elastic coil spring(40) that fixes the belt on the outer peripheral surface of the casing by connecting the opposite ends of the belt is fitted, and a wire part(36) connected to the electric heating wire and extending outside the belt, wherein the wire part is spaced away from the fitting member to avoid entanglement with the connection member. The fitting hole to which the sensor unit is fitted is spaced away from the electric heating wire.
