<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and high-strength tray which can be manufactured at a low cost and easily and washed and reused appropriately. <P>SOLUTION: The floor plate of the tray is formed of a metal-resin composite plate in which a low foamed resin having closed cells is used as a core material and a metal layer is stuck on both faces of the surface and the back of the core material and a side plate is formed by cutting an extruded resin and a metal-made reinforcing member is provided on the lower face of the floor plate. A stainless steel or a resin or the like which can not easily rust is used as a material for fixing part such as a screw or the like. By this weight reduction of the tray can be achieved securing strength by the special quality of the floor plate material and needed strength can be secured with the reinforcing member. Also side plates having different sizes can be supplied quickly only by cutting the same kind of extrusion molding article in a needed length and breadth.
