<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB device capable of reducing power consumption according to a host. <P>SOLUTION: The USB device having a plurality of functional modules is provided with a voltage detector 124 serving as a control circuit, which switches a functional module to be enabled among functional modules possessed by the USB device 100 according to a potential level of power supply fed from the host 150 connected to the USB device 100, for determining a voltage value of the power supply, a switch 130 controlling the power supply respectively flowing through the functional modules, memories 126 and 144 storing descriptors about the USB device 100, and a memory 444. According to the determination result of voltage value of the power supply by the voltage detector 124, the power supply flowing to the functional module to be enabled is turned on by the switch 300, and the descriptors stored in the memories 126 and 144 are transferred to the host 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
