A component mounting module and a method for mounting a passive element thereof are provided to reduce a module size by reducing an occupied area of passive elements. A predetermined circuit pattern is formed on a substrate(110). A plurality of passive elements(120,121,122,124) are mounted in a vertical structure on the substrate. An adhesive member(126) is attached between the passive elements of the vertical structure. A wire(130) is used for connecting electrically the passive elements of the vertical structure to each other. The lower passive element in the passive elements of the vertical structure is larger than the upper passive element in the passive elements of the vertical structure.
