<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate opening/closing operation without using a metallic spring, and in addition, to facilitate assembly at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The stopper includes: a stopper body 3 freely attachably and detachably fitted to the upper opening of a container 2; a lid 4 pivoted so as to be freely turned on the stopper body 3 on the rear side of the stopper body to open/close a liquid flow path 37; and a non-metallic elastic member 61 that energizes the lid 4 in the opening direction. The narrow and long resilient member 61 is installed along the outer periphery 6a of a turning shaft 6 in the lid 6, and the resilient member 61 is allowed to energize the lid 4 in the opening direction by allowing a contracting force in the longitudinal direction of the resilient member 61 to act in the tangential direction of the turning shaft 6. The lid 4 can be energized in the opening direction without using the metallic spring, and further this energization is ensured by the contracting force of the resilient member 61.
