<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device of a wire and a terminal crimping method of a wire capable of preventing production of a product having a terminal crimping defect caused by a holding failure of a wire. <P>SOLUTION: In this terminal crimping device, a wire 14 is moved from a wire stripping section 10 to a terminal crimping section 6, with both its ends held by two wire holding hands 3 of a wire conveyance hand 2, and is subjected to terminal crimping processing by terminal crimping presses 6a. The terminal crimping device has the second wire conveyance hand 2 for conveying the wire 14 at the terminal crimping section 6. The wire conveyance hand 2 conveys the wire 14 without passing it from one side of the plurality of wire crimping presses 6a to the other side, so that occurrence of a holding failure of the wire 14 is suppressed even if the number of the terminal crimping presses 6a is increased or the conveyance speed of the wire 14 is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
