<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix substrate suitable for suppressing the destruction of a gate driver due to electrostatic discharge, suppressing the degradation in display quality and achieving frame narrowing and high integration. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the active matrix substrate (100) includes a step for forming an electrostatic discharge induction part (190) in the vicinity of a gate bus line (105) so that electrostatic discharge may be more easily generated between the gate bus line (105) and the electrostatic discharge induction part (190) as compared with that between the gate bus line (105) and a gate driver (150) before forming a contact part (168) for electrically connecting the gate bus line (105) and the gate driver (150). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
