PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle display device which makes it possible to execute processing defined for a touched button even if the touch is erroneously released at a position different from the release area of the touched button in case that processing defined for a button is executed based on a position at which a touch is released.
SOLUTION: The release area 23a of the "Y" button 21a is touched with intention to input the alphabetical character "Y", but, when the touch is released, a finger erroneously slides in an arrow mark direction 31 to release the touch at the release area 23b of the "Z" button 21b. If a prescribed time period (for example, 200 ms) has not passes after the touch position deviates from the release area 23a of the "Y" button 21a, processing defined for the "Y" button 21a relating to the touched release area 23a is executed. Accordingly, even if a position at which the touch is released is erroneously deviated, the processing defined for the "Y" button 21a is executed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
|
