<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation reception device and an operation reception method capable of operating easily an object in a plant. <P>SOLUTION: An eye point receiving means 11 receives an assignment of an eye point by a user. A retrieval means 12 retrieves a tag (object), using the eye point assigned by the eye point receiving means 11. A display means 15 displays a tree hierarchy of the tag by the eye point on a screen, based on a retrieved result by the retrieval means 12. A filtering condition reception means 16 receives an assignment of a filtering condition by the user.
