PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens whose lens entire length is short and which can correct astigmatism. SOLUTION: The imaging lens has an aperture diaphragm 1, a meniscus shaped first lens 2 having a positive refractive index and a convex surface on the incident side of light and a second lens 3 having a negative refractive power and a concave surface on the incident side of the light, in order from the incident side of the light from an object and is configured so that the incident angleθin and outgoing angleθout of a main light ray passing through the second lens 3 satisfy ¾θout-θin¾<5°, in the range where an image height centering on an optical axis is 70%.
