PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an extension user in a PHS indoor coverage system to achieve stable communication when carrying out an extension communication therein. SOLUTION: In a wireless extension system, a simultaneous call area number 212 of an extension CS in the PHS indoor coverage system is set to a number different from that of a public CS, located around the PHS indoor coverage system. Based on the incoming call number from a terminal in a CSS, it is determined that it becomes an extension call, if a specific extension number is accompanied by each calling and that it is to be an outside call, it is not. The foregoing results are communicated to the base station. Based on the results of the above judgment, a type of the TCH switching function of a TCH switching information element in a function demand response message of an extension call terminal is set to be "none" by the base station with respect to a recall type connection function between the simultaneous extension call areas and to other cell stations (CS).
