PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device capable of reading a voltage value, in response to an incident luminous quantity to a photodiode, with high accuracy and at a high speed. SOLUTION: An electric charge voltage conversion circuit 10<SB>n</SB>inputs an electric charge generated in a photodiode PD<SB>n</SB>and outputs a voltage value in response to the input electric charge amount. A prestage hold circuit 20<SB>n</SB>holds the output voltage value from the electric charge voltage conversion circuit 10<SB>n</SB>and outputs it as current. A transimpedance amplifier 30 inputs voltage values, output from the prestage hold circuits 20<SB>1</SB>to 20<SB>N</SB>sequentially as current, and outputs voltage values which current flowing, in response to a changed amount from a reference voltage value to the input voltage value has been converted by a transimpedance. A peak holding circuit 50 holds and outputs the peak voltage value among the output voltage values from the transimpedance amplifier 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
