PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor to control processor performance according to a user's preference. SOLUTION: The user selects which mode is taken for an operation, a normal copy mode or a speed preference copy mode at copying and changes the content of vectorizing processing according to the selection mode. That is, the entire vectorizing processing is conducted in the case that the normal copy mode is selected, and only partial vectorizing processing is conducted in the case that the speed preference copy mode is selected.
