PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiving device capable of relaxing user's dissatisfaction with a failure in displaying a program of a target channel after channel switching. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiving device 90 includes pluralities of pairs of tuners and decoders (100, 104) and (102, 106) which receive digital broadcast signals, select and decode digital broadcast signals of specified channels, and output video signals, a switching circuit 118 which selects a video signal specified with a select signal out of their outputs and outputs the video signal to a display 92, and maintains the selection until a next select signal is supplied, and a CPU 110 which controls the switching circuit 118 so as to make one of the plurality of the pairs (100, 104) and (102, 106) of the tuners and decoders start selecting the specified channel and performing decoding in response to the reception of a channel switching indication, and selects the output of a normal video signal when the output of the normal video signal becomes possible.
