PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil from flowing into an evaporator (5) and to prevent a refrigeration capacity from getting low, in a refrigeration unit (1) using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant. SOLUTION: The refrigerator oil is prevented from flowing into the evaporator (5), by separating the refrigerator oil from the refrigerant in an outlet side of an expander (3) not to flow into the evaporator (5), or by lubricating the expander (3) only with the refrigerant without supplying the refrigerator oil to the expander (3).
