PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer having sound insulating properties while securing air permeability, in the silencer for reducing noise wave transmitted from a noise source at one side of a louver structure constituting a wall, to the other side. SOLUTION: In this silencer of the louver structure provided with ventilation passages 5 formed in multiple stages, bent blade bodies 4 are respectively disposed between the ventilation passages, and silencing chambers 7 are defined inside of the blade bodies. Plate members 9 are disposed on surface positions of the blade bodies with which the noise wave moving in the ventilation passages collides, thus the noise wave is guided into the silencing chambers 7 by the plate members 9 and a sound pressure of the noise can be reduced.
