PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support pin (a stud pin) capable of carrying out rigid caulking by light force. SOLUTION: The support pin 1 comprises a boss part 2, a flange part 3, and a spindle 4. The boss part 2 has a larger diameter than the spindle 4, and the flange part 3 is formed non-circularly as seen from an axial direction. A tip of the boss part 2 is formed into a cross-sectionally trapezoidal bank-like part 8 by existence of a first recessed part 6, and an annular second recessed part 10 is formed on the flange part 3. An interval size L4 between a bottom face of the first recessed part 6 and a bottom face of the second recessed part 10 is smaller than a plate thickness T0 of a work W. In a caulking process, since a portion in an outer side of the spindle 4 is concentrically crushed and deformed in the boss part 2, caulking can be carried out with a slight force.
