PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cushioning body with a surface skin, which is free from wrinkles and can present outstanding appearance quality. SOLUTION: The method for producing the cushioning body with the surface skin which vacuum-molds the surface skin material 8 set at a vacuum mold into a mold surface skin material along a mold face and injects a foaming synthetic resin material therein and close an opening of the mold to make the foaming synthetic resin material foam to provide the cushioning body with the surface skin further includes the process of contacting the inside of the molded surface skin material with a foamed body by pressing outward from the molded surface skin material while closing the opening of the mold before the foamed body formed within the molded surface skin material by the foaming of the foamed synthetic resin material hardens.
