PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article converging facility capable of suppressing the deterioration of carrying efficiency by simple control, even if an article can be converged to one carrying path from a plurality of the carrying paths and a converging ratio in the carrying path gets out of balance. SOLUTION: The facility has a converging device 4 capable of converging articles A carried by two carrying paths L1, L2 to one carrying path L3, and carrying that to an automatic sorting facility. A segmenting device 2 grouping each two of articles carried to each carrying path on a carrying side by the carrying device 1 at a first interval (a) required for sorting action, segmenting the grouped article groups B at a second interval (b) larger than the first interval; and a converging speed adjusting device 3 leading the article groups segmented from any segmenting device, adjusting its carrying speed, and successively sending out the article groups to the converging device while having at least the first interval to the article groups segmented from a segmenting device in another carrying path, are disposed.
