PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which can make available a hydraulic transfer medium which is free from surface defects such as pattern elongation/pattern irregularity in a transfer layer of an obtained hydraulic transfer medium, as the manufacturing method of a hydraulic transfer medium under a transfer system or a continuous transfer system having a conveyane means. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the hydraulic transfer medium features the following processes: first, suspending a hydraulic transfer film in water with a support film set facing downward, then activating the transfer layer by making an activation agent adhere to the transfer layer, and finally curing the transfer layer after transferring the transfer layer to the transfer surface of an object to which the transfer layer is transferred. Further, an organic solvent is allowed to adhere to an arbitrary part of the transfer layer excepting the part serving as the transfer surface, by 1.3 to 10 times the activation agent build-up level per unit area.
