PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space to be needed for storing a stored bed. SOLUTION: The stored bed includes a rectangular bed body 11 and can take a stored state wherein the bed body 11 is roughly vertically raised and a used state wherein it is roughly horizontally brought down. The bed body 11 includes handrails 15 and 16 along longitudinal sides. The handrail 16 can be swung between a first position at which the handrail is positioned roughly parallel with the bed body 11 and a second position at which the handrail is positioned roughly vertical, and is provided with a locking means for holding the handrail at the second position and an unlocking means for unlocking the handrail.
