The invention relates to a housing for a radiator, comprising a box with end walls. It is characterized in that the box comprises a carcass (1), side walls (2, 3), end walls (4, 5) and covers (6, 7), that the bottom section (1) is made of a plate, is provided on the inside surface thereof with a heat-insulating layer (26), and on the longitudinally extending edges has cylindrical projections (10, 11), and that the side walls (2, 3) are configured as tube profiles cut to length, each having an arched and a flat part (18, 19 and 20, 21). The flat part (20, 21) is provided on the inside with a heat-insulating layer (26), on a longitudinally extending edge with a cylindrical groove (22, 23), and on the other longitudinally extending edge with a rectangular step (24, 25). The covers (6, 7) are made of plates, which carry rectangular grooves (31, 32 and 33, 34) on the longitudinally extending edges, the surfaces of the end walls (4, 5) are arched, and brackets (8, 9) are firmly attached to the transverse edges of the carcass (1). |
