A display apparatus displays broadcast program listings. The display apparatus includes a storage unit which stores Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information, a display unit which displays broadcast program listings using the EPG information, a user interface which receives an input of a command to move, and a control unit which controls the display unit to move to a listing area of the broadcast program listings including valid broadcast information, and displays the listing area, if the command to move is input. As a result, a viewer can select a desired broadcast program with ease and without wasting time. |
