A communication terminal comprising a case; operation keys provided at positions on the backside of the case corresponding to the fingers of a user grasping the case; a key top provided to project/retract freely from/to the case; on/off switches corresponding to the operation keys, respectively; a switch circuit generating a first information signal as the operation key is projected/depressed; a code circuit for converting the first information signal thus generated into a transmission code signal; a transceiver for transmitting/receiving the coded signal; and an uncode circuit for converting the received code signal into second information signal for projecting/depressing the operation key.
