<p>The invention relates to a toothbrush that is preferably electric and com prises a handle and an attachment which can be mounted on the latter. The at tachment for a toothbrush of this type has a working head and a connecting p iece that is connectable in a positive and/or non-positive fit to the toothb rush handle. An attachment of this type can be, in particular, an attachment brush for cleaning teeth, but may also consist of inter-dental cleaning equ ipment, gum massage heads or other attachment instruments for carrying out s imilar tasks in the oral cavity. According to the invention, the connecting piece is rigidly fixed to the toothbrush handle in order to obtain a zero-ba cklash connection that is tolerance-independent. To achieve this, at least o ne pivotable lever or toggle lever is provided to clamp the connecting piece to the toothbrush handle.</p> |
