CALIBRATION DEVICE, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A CONTAINER CRANE

A device, method and system for automatic calibration of a container cran e, said container crane being controlled by a system comprising a first sens or (LPS) and/or a second sensor (TPS). In one aspect the invention discloses a calibration rig (1) arranged in a fixed position and comprising a plurali ty of markers, each arranged at a known and fixed position and distance rela tive to one another. The markers may comprise a first marker with a first vi sual appearance, or active marker (5) and/or a second marker with a second v isual appearance, or passive marker (6). The active marker is preferably a i llumination source, such as an IR source. A method for calibrating a contain er crane using the calibration device and a container control system compris ing the calibration device and one or more computer programs are also descri bed.
