<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of quickly exhausting water entering a gas passage without blocking the gas passage. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is formed by stacking unit cells each of which is formed by arranging an electrode layer on both sides of an electrolyte membrane and furthermore arranging a separator 10a on the outside of the electrode layer, in a multilayered structure. The separator 10a has a gas passage 20 formed on the counter surface to the electrode layer, a gas supply manifold for supplying gas to the gas passage 20, and a gas exhaust manifold 15b for recovering gas from the gas passage and exhausting the recovered gas. An end part 21a on the gas exhaust manifold side of a rib 21 composing the side wall of the gas passage 20 is projected to the gas exhaust manifold 15b side than the gas passage 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
