<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acquiring performance of a download content. <P>SOLUTION: A demodulation unit 12 performs demodulation processing on a reception signal obtained by a tuner unit 11, and multiplexed information is extracted from a resultant transport stream by a demultiplexer 13. On the basis of download notice information extracted by the demultiplexer 13, a control unit 30 discriminates a download content transmission term and if the transmission term comes during broadcast receiving operation, the download content is extracted by switching a tuning frequency of the tuner unit 11 to a frequency of digital broadcast containing the download content. Since the download content can be acquired even while the broadcast receiver is used for exhibition or the like, the exhibition or the like can be prevented from being continuously performed in a state having trouble or in a state where a new function can not be utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
