PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical component alignment tool capable of adjusting the optical axis of an optical component at a low cost easily. SOLUTION: The optical component alignment tool includes: a rotating base 3 on which a lens 2 having the optical axis and a lens holding device 1 are installed, and which has a notch 10; a base plate 5 on which the rotating base 3 is installed; fixing screws 6 for supporting the rotating base 3 on the base plate 5; and a cam 4 installed on the base plate 5 so as to be in contact with the notch 10 of the rotating base 3, so that its external circumference is off-centered to its rotation center. The cam 4 is rotated, and the rotating base 3 is rotated round the fixing screw 6a, thereby adjusting the optical axis of the lens 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
