摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure normal suction of oil by protecting a strainer mounting part when external force acts on a bottom wall of an oil pan from a lower part during vehicle travel in a balancer device of an engine arranging a balancer unit in the oil pan and forming a strainer mounting part at a housing bottom part of the balancer unit. SOLUTION: A protector part 39 for protecting the strainer mounting part is formed at a bottom part of a lower housing 15 of a balancer housing to surround the strainer mounting part 23 in a partial arch shape with an arrangement in a vehicle front side than the strainer mounting part 23 and partially overlapping a bearing wall part 22 in an engine rear side in a plane view, and keeping lower end thereof lower than or roughly same height as a lower end of the strainer mounting part 23.
