PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining for a vehicle allowing lowering of manufacturing cost, space saving and mounting of a light guide body at a stable and sure position. SOLUTION: This door lining 1 for the vehicle is provided on a cabin side of a door for the vehicle to illuminate the inside of the cabin. The door lining 1 is provided with a base trim 2, a panel trim 3 for covering a part of a surface on the cabin side of the base trim 2, a LED unit 11 and the long light guide body 12 distributing light from the LED unit 11 to the surrounding. A gap N is provided along at least a part region of a side end 3a of the panel trim 3 between the base trim 2 and the panel trim 3. In the region covered by at least the panel trim 3 of the base trim 2, a storage groove 21 along the gap N and an engaging claw 22 are integrally formed. The light guide body 12 is stored in the storage groove 21 to face the gap N, is engaged with the engaging claw 22 and is held in the storage groove 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
