The shaft furnace (100) has furnace gas outlet (120) that is connected to furnace gas main pipe (123). The outlet is provided at the top of shaft furnace. The central axis of outlet is slanted with regard to horizontal axis of shaft furnace by an angle of 45-55[deg] . A load (115) is moved from the top to bottom of furnace under the influence of gravity. The diameter of main pipe is larger than the diameter of outlet.
