The invention relates to a personalised interactive mail publishing method which can be used to consult personal data, trigger actions or acknowledge receipt in an instantaneous and secure manner. The method includes: formation (1) or extraction (2) of the constituent data of a printable code; generation of complementary variables (3), such as for authentication (4); concatenation (5) and compaction of the data from the code to be printed (6); formation of a file (7) containing the data from the code to be printed and from the mail (8); conversion of the codes to enable optoelectronic capture (9); encapsulation of the code in a data flow (10); printing prior to distribution of the mail or package (11); capture of the printed code (12) by the recipient using, for example, a mobile telephone fitted with a camera (13); interpretation of the symbols forming the code (14) using an embedded module (15); processing of the instructions contained in the code (16); connection to the server (17); encryption and comparison with the encryption performed by the embedded module (18); authentication (19); and access to the information (20) indexed in the databases (1) made available by the originator of the mail.
