A mobile terminal having a location tracking radiowave transmission function is provided to track a location according to a frequency homing method through a location tracking radiowave receiving unit. A frequency generating unit(160) generates a second RF signal including specific identification information according to a location tracking radiowave transmission command from a controller(150). A location tracking radiowave transmission unit(170) transmits the second RF signal generated by the frequency generating unit according to a transmission period of the second RF signal set by the controller. A memory unit(130) stores the specific identification information, and the frequency generating unit generates the RF signal including the specific identification information stored in the memory unit. A remaining battery capacity detecting unit(180) detects the remaining battery capacity.
