<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data broadcast receiver capable of receiving data broadcast corresponding to a broadcasting band. <P>SOLUTION: The data broadcast receiver comprises: a demultiplexer (30) for demultiplexing PES data such as video and audio data and caption data and section data such as channel selection information, program information, data broadcasting from a received digital broadcast wave; a service group determination unit (50) for determining whether or not the data broadcast under reception is divided into service groups on a plurality of layers on the basis of the information demultiplexed by the demultiplexer (30); and a data broadcast decoder (60) for performing decode processing on the data broadcast demultiplexed by the demultiplexer (30) in accordance with a scheme corresponding to a determination result of the service group determination unit (50). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
