PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find and prevent the illegal use of a signaling protocol in a multimedia session performed following a prescribed signaling protocol between communication terminals connected by an electric communication network. SOLUTION: A fault indicating the illegal use of a signaling protocol is investigated (50). A reaction corresponding to the investigated fault is defined in advance (500). Then, entire requests exchanged between the terminals T1, T2, 4, and a proxy server 3 are collected (51). One of the faults investigated in advance is connected to each of a plurality of indicators for utilization, and the collected requests are analyzed to detect the faults (52). As a result of the analysis, when the faults are detected, the proxy server 3 starts reaction corresponding to the detected faults.
