PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser microphone unit that maintains clearance with respect to a fixed pole by a projection formed on a diaphragm, by heating and forming the diaphragm and can adjust the tension applied to the diaphragm, and to provide a microphone that uses the condenser microphone unit. SOLUTION: The condenser microphone unit has the diaphragm; a diaphragm-holding body to which the diaphragm is fixed; and the fixed pole that is arranged on the diaphragm facing and comprises a condenser at a portion to the diaphragm. In the condenser microphone unit, the diaphragm has the projection on an opposite surface to the fixed pole, and the projection is brought into contact with the fixed pole, thereby the clearance between the diaphragm and the fixed pole is formed.
