PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire flexibility testing device and its testing method, capable of carrying out testing at a high measurement accuracy, inexpensively, without twisting of wires during testing, and with little fluctuation of measurement. SOLUTION: The flexibility testing device of wires is provided with at least a wire bent in nearly a U-shape on a vertical plane, a load means mounted on a nearly U-shaped bottom part of the wire, a bending mechanism bending the nearly U-shaped wire, an electric circuit connected to the wire and detecting disconnection of the wire due to bending, and a counter for measuring the number of bending times of the bending mechanism.
