PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the characteristics of reproduced content data by suppressing a complex operation and by setting more satisfactory to user's taste. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a data reproduction part for reproducing content data, a content data adjustment part for adjusting the characteristics of the reproduced content data, a ranking information storage part for storing ranking information correlating the setting of the content data adjustment part with past reproduction time, and a control unit for controlling the operation of the content data adjustment part.
